Where's that leave everything else? Up to CHANGE!!! So maybe we could say:
The only thing constant is change, so prepare for it!
Knowing this will better prepare you to confront it, roll with it, and even influence it. Control is probably not likely, but influencing changes is a step in the right direction.
This is it! You have the biggest decision of your life; one that can affect the rest of your life. You pressure yourself. Nobody is taking anything off of your plate. Everyone around you seems to be putting pressure on you. There doesn't seem to be an obvious "good" choice, or there are multiple good choices. Where is the objective help? Where is the relief valve? You can do it. You just need someone to walk beside you to make it through this change so you can learn how to deal with it and create your own happiness.
We faces changes throughout our lives, from the day we are born to the day we die. You might be:
Sometimes life is highly complex. Sometimes it seems simple. Too bad you don’t get to decide. Life is filled with making plans and then keeping your balance as you confront the unexpected changes; and you know they will occur. Throughout our lives, women (mother, wife, daughter, educated, professional, caregiver, leader, martyr) go through big changes. Why do some women embrace these moments while others feel as though they have no choices and may be about to fall apart? What transitions do we experience?
And guess what? As the "heart" of the family, you get to help everyone else go through their changes too. Everyone's transition seems traumatic to them. You listen, hold their hands, and hand out the wisdom. Sometimes a band-aid and kiss won't fix it. A Coach can help you sort through the tough transitions in your family too; helping you with one child while arming you with tools for the next.
Are you resisting the change that must occur for your life and family to grow? Men have to be ready and adaptable to accept each new change. Men have three major life changes to embrace successfully in order to keep their life moving forward. Those changes are:
Men need to embrace their age, the season they are in, and evolve with their significant other.
Change may be good... but that doesn't make it easy! You just need to expect it, be willing to face it, not let it cause you to fail, and if it turns out to cause a complete redirection, don't let that stop you. YOU CAN DO IT!
